Double Delta is a smart and stylish game, in which you and a friend compete to get their pawn at the top of the board first. Are you cunning enough to cut off your competitors road while reaching the top yourself?
Each turn, you move your pawn over the roads and optionally rotate a road. The special thing about Double Delta is this: which specific roads can be rotated, depends on how exactly you move your pawn. Doing this right requires some real tactical thinking!
- If you move your pawn 1 step, you may rotate the road on which your pawn ends.
- If you move your pawn 2 steps, you may rotate any of the roads adjacent to where your pawn ends.
- If you move your pawn 3 steps, you may rotate any of the roads at a distance of 2 from where your pawn ends.
- If you move your pawn 4 steps, you may rotate any of the roads at a distance of 3 from where your pawn ends.
- Etcetera.
A bit more mathematical: If you move your pawn X steps, you may rotate any of the roads at a distance of X minus 1 from where your pawn ends.
Double Delta is a unique game, I hope you enjoy it!
